The Legacy of Islampur

The craftsmanship of Swat dates back to the late 19th century, serving the former Rulers of Swat. Today, that legacy lives on in a village called Islampur. Here, 90% of the population is associated with the weaving industry. Excellence isn't just a skill here; it is in the genes.

The Swati Shawl: A Labor of Love

A Swati shawl is not merely a piece of cloth; it is wool and thread weaved with affection and hard work.

  • Standard Quality: Takes three sweaty hours of focused labor.

  • Deluxe Shawls: Can take a week of dedicated craftsmanship.

  • Exclusive Pashmina: Requires up to four weeks of meticulous hand-weaving to reach perfection.

Once the base is perfected in our looming setup in Swat, the shawls travel across Pakistan to receive their signature motifs—cross-stitch, doch, crochet, and pakkoh—ensuring every piece is a unique masterpiece.
